Alex & Sammantha: Blogmageddon Part 1

April 2, 2012 - Weddings
How do you possibly write a blog post about a couple you have come to love to bits? I mean bitty-bitty bits!!!
The only way possible, of course, just to say we love them. They are simply two of the kindest hearted, fun-loving and ebullient people on the planet!  Seriously, if one of them hasn't given you a big old hug within 30 minutes I'll eat my Easter bonnet!

Did I mention that they met and fell in love while studying film abroad in Paris? Seriously? It's like a movie!

The amazing thing about this wedding, except for Alex and Samm of course, is that they did almost all of the DIY decor and detail elements by themselves! It's epic!  I don't know how they managed to fit it in while running their very own wedding film business at the same time. Speaking of which...

They own Imprint Cinema wedding films and their work is mind-blowingly lovely!  Do yourself a favor and check them out if you were hoping to add coverage for your wedding or event.

Lastly, it was such a treasure to not only photography Alex & Samm, and oh so many wonderful friends who were present, but to see my hilarious husband up at the head of the aisle officiating the ceremony.  He was so very honored that you asked him to stand up for you during the ceremony. You should have seen him poring over his notes in the days before your ceremony. I even caught him practicing to himself a few times (so very cute).

There are just so many images I wanted to share that I think this may be a two or three part post! And your album... oh.. my... it's going to be eyeball exploding awesome!

Much Love,
Krystal (and Matt)
Alex took a few minutes to call Sammantha just to say "I love you" as she was getting ready in the bridal suite.
Yeah..... ummm this happened.
Aaaaaand this.  I have learned my lesson... never dare groomsmen!
Alex's amazing Alphonse Mucha ink...
Their hand-crafted matching wedding bands from Diamandis Jewelers.
You are never too old to play with your fruit roll-ups
Sammantha's Mom and Sister look on as she get's ready. I find this photo so poignant and thoughtful.
A surprise gift from the bridesmaids!
Sammantha sits down to write a love note for Alex to be delivered with his wedding gifts...
